WHO WE ARE
Campus Based (CB) is a nation-wide young Catholic adult ministry for college students. We are a section of the evangelistic and missionary community of Missionary Families of Christ (MFC).
WHAT IS MFC CAMPUS BASED?
We will adapt a definition of our name to be as follows:
“MFC” : Missionary Families of Christ- the parent community to whom we are a part.
“CAMPUS”: beyond the obvious that we serve our brethren on a college or university campus. We will further define the word CAMPUS to bear the abbreviation of Catholic And Missionary Preparation for University Students.
“BASED”- is an acronym for Brothers And Sisters Evangelizing Disciples; to help us remember who we are in Jesus Christ and what role we share in the evangelization mission. Within our MFC Campus community in the Philippines, they do not have BASED in their name, we will retain it in the USA because it serves to define where the center of our service lies.

OUR MISSION
Our vision is realized through our evangelistic works on campuses across the nation. We proclaim the hope of the Gospel, build friendships amongst students, and equip them for spiritual growth through our weekly meetings, semester retreats, and yearly conferences. Our prayer is to share the unmatched and eternal joy in receiving the gift of salvation and in pursuing a personal relationship with Jesus. We start at our campuses, growing as servants of the Church and children of God in the time we spend as college students; however, our mission is to be lived out and shared with others, building His kingdom, wherever we go.
C A M P U S B A S E D P R A Y E R
Good and loving Father, You showed us the way to Yourself through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that by the power of Your Spirit, our Campus Based may show others the way to You. Empower us with the courage to proclaim to the world Your gospel which we have heard and to be ministers of Your love that we have seen, looked upon, and touched with our hands. Use us to bring Your hope to our family, friends, classmates, coworkers, and anyone we meet, especially those who are poor physically, mentally, or spiritually. We ask for Your special blessing upon our campuses. Cover them with the most precious blood of Jesus Christ and claim these campuses, their faculties, staff, and student bodies as Your own. Lord, we thank You for hearing and answering our prayers, for humbling us and allowing us to do Your work. We thank You for giving us the opportunity for a higher education and for providing us with the tools and knowledge we will need to be successful in our future. We pray for our vocations that Your will may be done in our lives. Please bless this ministry so all of us can experience You through it. With the intercession of the Blessed Mother Mary and all the angels and saints, with the Holy Spirit and through Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ our God forever and ever. Amen.
